I sometimes have to create round (tube) parts. Some of these times areas are cut away from the "tube" and could be made from sheet metal quicker than cutting a round tube, which can be a pain. The problem is I do not know how to convert the round part into sheet metal to create a flat to work from.

How would I go about doing this?

For reference I attached a part that I would like to do this too.
