Hello,

Is it possible to convert of simple formed piece of steel round stock into sheet metal so that a flat pattern can be generated?  For example, I have a simple piece of 3/8" round bar that I have formed at 90 degrees.  How could this be converted to sheet metal, maybe not even possible?  I didn't use the structural member profile as I didn't see one available for solid round bar.  I used the Swept Boss Base.  Any suggestions?  I've attached the .sldprt as well as snipped image on screen.  Thanks!
