heres a question about convert face feature in a 2d sketch.

i wish to convert a face with holes as is .

when i click on the face , and convert , it creates only the outline of the steel plate , not the holes . 

i then have either to draw the holes or convert them one by one as convert feature will not let me select multiple objects .

how do i convert plate outline + holes together , if possible ?  Or , how do i select multiple objects to be converted, if possible ?
