I have a section view of which the section line is vertical passing through the centre of a vessel, now I would like to make a offset on this section from a particular height to show a hole which is not located along the earlier centre section line.

is it possible for me to edit the section line to get this result. I did try to edit the section line but what I noticed is that offset (Horizontal distance) is reflecting on my view.

I know if I take a new section view and try to add offset vile creating, I can get the result correctly.

Could anyone help me on it please.
