I am working on my bachelor project and I am trying to simulate solar radiation with different angles of incidence on my model but I can't figure out how it works. It is possible on SOLIDWORKS to change position of sun using cartesian co-ordinates. However, I want to control direction of solar radiation not position. As shown in the picture a function can be used as cos() however it doesn't give the results of cosine so can anybody help?!
