Is there a way to control the instance of sketch patterns in configuration?

Many dimensions/parameters can be controlled in configuration like "D1@sketch1", etc. However, if in one configuration I want certain features (say a rectangle in sketch pattern) to repeat 10 times, and in another configuration I need 12 such repetitions, how can we do that?
