I've a part that needs to be waterjet cut. There are M6 tappedholes in it. When waterjetting a part we have to make the tap drilldiameter hole for waterjetting slightly smaller than the normal 5mmas the jet of water usually spreads out. If we leave the holes at5mm they will come back maybe 5.2, i.e. too big for tappingproperly.
I want to be able to configure my part to have 4.5mm clearanceholes for waterjetting and then we'll drill them to 5mm and tapthem when we get back the part. I know I can configureconfigure thepart to have a 4.5mm clearance hole for waterjetting and a 5mm holefor machining but what I want to know is can I configure thefeature. It would be much quicker. Can't seem to do it though.Keeps saying "this change will apply all settings in this propertymanager to all configurations".
