I have been using and loving the new (for 08) ConfigureFeature/Dimension etc functionality since SW2008 came out.
But I've been a bit frustrated if I wanted to change somethingacross multiple configurations at once. For instance, If I wantedto change a dim or suppress something in multiple configs. Before,I thought you had to do it one at a time.
Today I accidentally discovered that these tables have Excel-likefunctionality!!
I had a dim that I needed to change from 29mm to 32mm. I clicked inthe cell and saw the little black "plus" pop up. Hmmm..
I dragged it like I would in Excel (just to see what would happen)and much to my surprise it worked EXACTLY like Excel. I was able toeasily drag the dim down and change my dim across 10 configs. Italso works to trend, say if you want it to increment 1mm at a timeup/down.
The same works for suppress/unsuppress. Just drag the plus down toquickly flip on/off the check boxes.
I was happy with this tool before, but this is icing on thecake.SolidworksConfigurations design Tables
