Hi, 

I have a part that can be variant 1, 2, or 3. In addition, depending on the variant, there are also A, B, C, and D, which represent different openings in the part.

so I can have 1,a 1,b ... as well as 3,a 3,c 3,d.....

Now I need to be able to adjust the part's length. But how can I implement this so that I only have one part and don't have to save a different one for each length? 

I'm open to any suggestions for improvement or a completely different approach
