I use SW for architectural work.  I have a top level assembly that is my finished building that consists of subassemblies for the floors/walls/roofs.  I have 4 interior walls that are one subassembly with 4 configurations (for differing switch and receptacle locations) and 3 display states (framing only, 1 side of wall finished, complete wall).

In my top level assembly I want to have 2 configs, 1 to show completed walls, and one to show with only 1 side of wall complete.   When I do this and select the appropriate display state for one of the configs, it changes both configs.

Am I not able to control display states with a config?
