I have 3 questions all concerning the same theme, trying to access modifying the configuration used of a component in an assembly, without having to call up the Component properties window.
- I see that SOLIDWORKS 2015 has added a new Toolbar "Configurations". When I make this active. This toolbar makes it easier to change configurations of the active component. This toolbar does not give us access to subparts of the assembly. Is this intentional?
- In SOLIDWORKS 2014, you had introduced a pop-up that showed up above the context menu when you clicked on a sub-component in the feature tree or in the graphics area. This is no longer showing up. Is this behavior intentional? If not, then is this a bug?
- I thought, ok maybe this is intentional, as in this version it is now possible to customize the context menü, so I RMB clicked in the area of the context menü and selected customize. Unfortunately, the tool "Configuration" is not available in the list under "Commands". Oh well. The question is, is this also intentional? (It is available under toolbars). Even so, if it were avaible, it doesn't help me, if I only obtain the list for the top level. See Question 1.
