I'm having trouble using Solidworks Composer 2013 SP2 with large assemblies (500+ parts). It takes long time to register any mouse-action (zoom, rotate..), and most often the program fades out; "not responding" - making it absolutely impossible to work with.

It uses like 20% CPU and about 500MB of ram when working, so it doesn't seem like it's on the hardware site.

Is it possible to finetune Composer in any way?

I've converted assemblies from Solidworks directly to .smg-files, this is also a slow proces. But a lot faster than opening assemblies in Composer.
