Is it intended that this new feature only exports a series of images and not knit them together like the 360 output from Visualize? 

If this is intended, what is the purpose of the series of images? Without knitting, this same functionality can easily be done by rotating a model in the timeline and exporting as a series of animated images. 

I don't understand the reason for this update unless there are plans to package this together into a final publication before 2020 Sp1.
