Hello Everyone

I have been tasked with putting a design on a pistol grip, but the pattern and surface are not easy shapes.  This design is widely used so I know there is a way, but I dont have an idea how to do it.  I attached a picture and and a pretty common grip design to give everyone an idea of what I am talking about.   I have tried a wrap on each of the three surfaces but I am unable to create anything that looks close to the picture.
