I have to import stp files and recreate the exact geometries of the parts with certain sheet metal parameters and standards. I then have to overlay the parts and compare whether their geometries match. So my questions are:

1) Is there a way to change the imported stp file to a sheet metal part and then set the bend radius and k-factor?

- I have been trying to use the "Convert to Sheet Metal" feature on SW after importing the stp and running Feature Recognition, but it hasn't been letting me set my bend radius as anything other than the default. It also makes my coordinate system and planes messy.

or

2) Is there an easy way to overlay two parts and see if there are small geometrical differences and then edit those differences?
