I'm having an issue with SOLIDWORKS PDM where, when I check a part in, the comments box in the PDM data card on the @ configuration gets overwritten with "REV DATE: March 5th, 2009". The comments box on other configurations stays as whatever I set it as. I started working with my current company a year ago and haven't been able to figure this out.
Some clarifying points:
We are currently using SOLIDWORKS 2023 SP5.0 and PDM Standard 2023.
The data card item for the comments box is shown below:
As you can see, "Default overwrites" is not checked, and the default value is set to something different in any case.
This issue happens in multiple workflow states.
None of our workflow states or transitions have actions associated with them (not that that should matter for checking in/out).
I've tried a few entirely unrelated things to address this, like rebuilding the templates, and nothing has helped. I'm at a loss as to how this could happen, especially with it pulling a string value from more than 15 years ago.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
