I have components in an assembly that are made of the same material.
So initially I used the combine feature and combined all the parts into a single part and performed static analysis on it and got some results.
However, in the assembly, when I applied bonded contacts between the parts (no clearances involved) and ran the same static analysis I got different results.
Shouldn't there be no difference between combine and a bonded contact between the parts? or am I making a mistake here?
Thanks in advance.
