I'm John Cochrane I work in Product Definition at SolidWorks in the Cambridge UK office. I'm currently doing some research on how our customers perform colour studies using Solidworks and possibly other software tools. I'd like to know how your do this and why.

e.g.

o Do you perform colour studies on a single part, multi-body part, or assembly

o Do you use configurations, different materials, RealView or PhotoView, other software e.g. Adobe PhotoShop or Illustrator

o At what process in the design cycle do you perform colour studies

o Are they for sign off, marketing collatal or for some other reason
