I have the RGB of a plastic surface that I want to illuminate but when you increase the illumination value it washes out the color to a lighter color which I can understand in some way but the color emitted from such a surface is not at all close to the RGB value or what we would see in real life if a bright bulb is illuminating translucent plastic. I know it depends on many factors like the scene, lights, materials around the plastic but does anyone have some best practice suggestions to get a photorealistic image of such a surface.
I also have observed that with PV360 it is very difficult to get a realistic looking shiny white surface, many white objects look dull and gray. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Jonathan
