Hi,

I have recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Book i7, 16GB Ram, 512GB Memory and am trying to install the 2016/017 Student Pack with my Serial Number provided from my University. When I downloaded the Installation Manager it had serial numbers already loaded into it, but these don't work. And even when I put in my serial number it still doesn't work.

I can get as far as pressing download and then it comes up saying I need to have a valid version of Excel, I am running Office 365 Excel. How do I remove all traces of SolidWorks even if it has never been installed on this computer before. I can see SolidWorks folders in my Registry and am wondering if these are the problem.
