Hi, just wanted to clarify this setting in SW ...

I have an assembly, we'll call it A - it will have its own drawing/BOM

Within assembly A is assembly B. B will also have its own drawing/BOM

Within assembly B is C. Assembly C is just an assembly of parts which is repeated in the design; having it as an assembly was quicker to mate, and i have set the config of assembly C to PROMOTE because I want the parts of the assembly in the BOM of assembly B drawing, not the assembly C itself.

What i'm not sure about is what happens in the BOM of Assembly A. I assume it will just show Assembly B as a single entry which is what I want; but will the PROMOTE function alter this?
