Hi all,

I am Solving Non linear analysis with assembly . Please find below image of similar type of model

I am giving no penetration contact between all the parts. The middle part of the assembly is very critical.

Que

1. In no penetration contacts will their be any  connectivity between mesh nodes? or all the parts are independent with each other when we define mesh.

2. As I am more concerned about the middle part.if we give fine mesh to the middle part and coarse mesh to the top and bottom part is it ok? can we obtain a good results?

3. If I make changes in mesh I am getting 400 percent difference in the deflection results.
