I'm creating a wire finger guard/screen for a fan.  Using SW13

Having trouble patterning the strut feature. I put in a center line but the program wouldn't allow me to select it.  I would happily pattern around any other virtual axis in the feature but not around the centerline I wanted.  Thought maybe this was because the centerline wasn't part of the feature drawing so I made the feature drawing show, that allowed it to pattern but it disapears as soon as I close the editor.

Someone please see if you can figure out what I'm doing wrong
