Hi -

I am trying to create a series of dimples which I want to then duplicate using a circular pattern in solidworks - however I can't seem to get this to work.

I can get it to work no problem if my target body is a cylinder - however in my case it isn't.

I've attached a screen capture of what I am trying to do - If you notice I have a small circular sketch - I want to project this on the revolved arc I've created (a pen grip) and then create dimples on my grip.

Is there a way that I can easily do this?

I've managed to create my master dimple by creating the circle, projecting it on my pen grip, offsetting and thickening the surface - but then when I go to revolve the pattern, it fails.

any help would be appreciated.
