Is there a Solidworks setting to change file types? 

We would like to create Solidworks part documents not Toolbox part documents. Can you explain why this happens?

Also is there a way of changing all of the current Toolbox part documents to Solidworks part documents?

We have probably created a few hundred of these toolbox part documents.
