I have used smart fasteners at previous employment and appreciate the ease of use, however they have already been setup when I came on staff. Now I find myself at a company where smart fasteners have never been used and I would like to institute them here as well. In reading the help section I see how I can take a fastener, with smart mates, from the toolbox and save it to have our properties but I have not found how to add the smart mates to my existing fasteners. I see how to add features to a fastener with smart components, but not how to add mates. Is there a way to add the smart mates to existing fasteners?
