How to change SolidWorks language to english without delete any other
ZIP (as a backup) and Delete your entire LANGUAGE FOLDER at:
...\\SOLIDWORKS Corp\\SOLIDWORKS\\lang
FOLDER Example:
J:\\Programas Especiais\\SOLIDWORKS Corp\\SOLIDWORKS\\lang\\portuguese-brazilian
Of course, mantaining:
\\SOLIDWORKS Corp\\SOLIDWORKS\\lang\\english
You don't need to delete that alternative language (another different of english).

line 624 =
"Use English language"=dword:00000000
Change to
"Use English language"=dword:00000001
Proceed (by right click at Windows Explorer) using modified userpref.reg

Use F3 to find:
Use English language
related to SOLIDWORKS XXXX(version)
Example:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\SolidWorks\\SOLIDWORKS 2017\\General
Where exists:
"Use English language"=dword:00000000
Change to
"Use English language"=dword:00000001
