Change in the way SolidWorks deactivates and activates licenses?

Last night I was working on a laptop and as usual had faithfully deactivated SolidWorks on my desktop and activated on the laptop before leaving the office. This morning, in my pre coffee phase, I started up the desktop and fired up SolidWorks. In mif startup I remembered I hadn't deactiavted the laptop license. Much swearing ensued before I realised that SolidWorks had activated on the desktop.

What witchcraft is this?!?

So I tested it again and sure enough it appears that in SolidWorks 2019 SP3 the software automatically activates and deactivates on the "live" work machine. When did this come in?

This is a great user enhamcement and credit where it is due. SolidWorks now ranks right up there with Rhino for ease of license management. Well done!
