Is there a way in SW that one could simulate suspending a model from a single attachment point? Initially the model would start with it's Center of Gravity (CG) not aligned with the "suspended point's" axis, Then SW would move and reorient the model to a location where the CG and the "suspended point" axis are in line. Like a rock hung from a string.
Obviously one could do it manually by lining up the CG calculated by Mass Properties and the "suspended point" axis.
But it seems that one might also be able to do this with a motion study options or in one of the SW Simulation packages. But I'm working in SW Pro, so I don't have all of the Advanced Motion Study options a to try, and while I have SW Simulation available as an add-in, I don't know enough about it to know if it could be used for this.
