I am thinking loud about the pro and cons of the new "cell border thickness" command.

I really like the idea of solidworks that a preselection of a row or column will allow the user only to edit entities in this preseletec area.

I am also a little bit disappointed about the amount of options for the border. at least a dashed or dottet line would have been nice.

I am also pretty sure that nearly every end user first tried to click on the whole the cell instead of the lines (like most of us do in MS Excel) -

It is too early for me to seriously judge about this new command but I think it would be a much better enhancement if the development goes one or two steps further and include more Microsoft-Excel alike - styles and options to strengthen their Ease-of-use commitment...
