Hello all,
Having an issue I haven't seen posted about before. Using SW 2024. I am unable to delete two endpoints from an arc I deleted.
When creating the arc, I was using the offset entities function. Despite being able to generate the arc and keeping its constraints with the lines tangent to the arc; the two endpoints of the arc were surrounded by a yellow square. When trying to rebuild, solve or exit the sketch I get the "multiple disjoint closed" message you normally get when your sketch isn't closed or is overlapping.
I deleted both lines tangent to the arc and the arc itself and redrew them manually. The endpoints from the arc are still present and surrounded by a yellow box. I tried deleting them and got the normal "endpoints and center points cannot be deleted" message. The endpoints are also black, showing they are fully constrained, but when I click on them they show no relations. Since they are fully constrained somehow I cannot use the replace entities feature.
When I draw a straight line over the whole feature I was trying to create just to close the sketch and try to solve, it still highlights each point and gives the "multiple disjoint closed" message.
Tried zooming in as far as SW allows to make sure they weren't tiny line segments, and they do appear to truly be points.
Pulling my hair out here, done a lot of work in this sketch since creating the arc and then noticing the endpoint issue I really don't want to have to revert to last save.
