I am working in an assembly. In this assembly, I have mated a subassembly using 2 holes and a plane. Now I want to change/delete those 3 mates. So, I go to the model tree and open up the mate folder directly under the subassembly name. I'm thinking I will see only those 3 mates since they were the only mates I have created in the current assembly. But...all of the 30 mates to the subassembly also appear. How do I know which mates are the mates that belong to the current assembly that I am working on? I see no need to show all of the mates associated with the inserted sub assembly. In fact...that is the reason I made it a sub assembly.
