Hi All,
Perhaps not he best platform to ask this question, but I have seen an increase in use of GD&T in weldment drawings, some with ridiculous tolerances not attainable in the welding process, even with the use of jigs. I was wondering if GD&T is allowed to be used to specify geometric tolerances (no machining, welding process only) with respect to parrallelism, flatness, straightness, angularity and perpendicularity in an weldment? Is this specifically mentioned in any standard?
