I have a multi-sheet drawing of a large assembly.  It is an electrical cabinet with components inside mounted to the walls & to an interior panel.  Sheet 2 of this drawing is a view of the interior panel with several detail views of din-rail assys, etc.  This assembly is frequently used as a template for new assemblies, so i'm frequently doing a "save as copy w/references".  This works pretty well, except for the fact that the view of the interior panel is forever linked to the original interior panel, i.e. i cannot "replace" the original with the "cloned" subassy vis a vis the replace command in assy mode.

This would be nice, since the detailed views are quite complicated & would take a while to recreate.  I'd rather not, if possible, have the reference to the old interior panel.

Am i missing something?!?...Any ideas?  Thanks!...Tom
