In my guitar amp project sometimes resistors are joined to a socket terminal directly with a soldered joint, or resistors join at a point on the turret board, or are effectively joined with a solid bridge between posts i.e. NO wire in between .

Is this possible to emulate this on a 2D schematic so that in 3D NO wire gets routed between the connection. Basically I suppose this means can two separate symbols/components share the same electrical circuit connection point?

Ideally I still want to be able to draw the circuit by adding separate symbols as apposed to a work around where I could create a symbol which includes say a socket with the resistors attached.

This means wires will not be generated in 3D where there aren't any and the wire count and other details in reports will be correct.

In the diagram below this is how the wires usually propagate, note the similar situation of solid wire connections between posts where effectively 3 resistors are joined together but no wire is needed due to the physical bridge.

Whilst the way I have it done at present is a good way to check that my circuit diagram is correct and reflects where bridges etc should occur on the board I want to do a 2D schematic which more closely reflects the layout and thus use individually coloured and appropriately sized wires as they appear inside a real amp.
