I am converting a SolidEdge file into Solidworks, and then trying to convert this into sheet metal so it can be flattened. I have got to the point of having a sheet metal part in Solidworks which can be flattened but a slit has been added to the corner relief which I can't get rid of. This will cause problems when cutting out so I need to find a way to get rid of this. This will be required for a large number of SolidEdge files so the simpler the process, the better.
I managed to convert the SolidEdge file by using the "Insert Bends" function. I have tried to remove the slit by editing the Flat Pattern feature and unchecking the option for showing the slit but this makes no difference.
