I have Solidworks 2018, when I open a .stp file from someone, everything comes in, in a "fixed" relationship.  Right clicking the main assembly name will allow me to "Float" that particular component, however, all the other components are still "fixed" (f) and right clicking these individual components does not show the option for "Float".

Two questions,

1).  Is there an import option setting that will remove the "Fixed" relationship automatically upon import?

2).  Why is there no option when right clicking a (f) " Fixed" Item, to "Float" it, on individual components?
