I'm the tech support person and I'm asking this question on behalf of another user.  He opens an assembly file in Solidworks 2009 SP 4.1 and adds one or more nuts or bolts to the assembly.  About 90% of the time, when he goes to save the assembly, it doesn't let you save it as an "assembly". However, he can save it as other file types. He used to be able to do it with no problems but recently he can't.  I'd like to avoid re-install the software if possible.  I would very much appreciate any suggestions.
