So when I am working on Mesh Controls, sometimes the feature window doesn't have anything in it.

When this happens, everything is grayed out. I press the green checkmark OR the red X and this happens.

Everything is grayed out. I can use the minimize or multiple window buttons but the close buttons won't highlight.

The only way out is to go to task manager.

How can I prevent this from happening again?
