As you might know, Workgroup PDM is being phased out and PDM Standard is the replacement. Some of the performance limitations of PDM Standard are actually limitations of the database management system it runs on, which is SQL Express (1GB RAM, 10GB database, 1 CPU with up to 4 cores).

My questions is can PDM Standard be installed on a server with SQL Standard, thereby eliminating these bottlenecks?
