I have a Convert to PDF task which runs automatically within state transitions, but I'm trying to find a way to run the task on an entire assembly. We went live with ePDM in February & most of our files; 90,000+ were migrated from Workgroup PDM & haven't run through any state transitions & most do not need to be.
This means the only PDF's we have generated are from items that have been run through a transition or manually selected for the PDF task.
My big problem is that many of our assemblies share components, which means that some components live in different folders than others.
The only way to see within ePDM what components make up a given assembly it to view the assembly from the contains tab in the lower pane. I would like to run a batch Convert to PDF task by highlighting all the SLDDWG files at once & then running the task, but the only way to select all relevant drawings is in the contains tab, which doesn't appear to have the capability to run my Task.
I've also try the copy tree option which collates all the relevant files also, but still no way to run the task.
Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks in advance for any help.
