We have a student lab running SW2011 on W7. We are limited or constrained to not saving any files to a network or local drive. We want to point System Options/File Locations/Document Templates/ folder to a removable USB drive. We typically have 8gig drives so storage size should not be a limitation. We also have temp and backup folders pointed to removeable USB media. When we start a new part, the USB named folder, SWTemplates, does not show up as an option in advanced and we cannot access our template. (Backup setting, however, are working.) Is there a setting in SW to allow templates to be used from a USB drive? Thanks!!
