I am trying to develop a set of custom colours:
i.e. RAL, Pantone etc.
I have excel lists of Colour Codes & RGB values, from this I have generated the SW \\\$color values.
I'm trying to find a way to generate a .p2m file for each colour (with the appropriate name) which can be stored in our Custom Appearance Library so we can quickly assign correct colours.
Doing this manually will take many hours, so I'm trying to find a shortcut which allows me to create and assign colour values in p2m files automatically using the excel list.
One idea I had was to create part configurations with assigned colours using design tables, this has worked - I now have a part with 200 named configurations & corresponding colour...but still need to save each one off manually, so not saving much time!
As I want to do this for a few different colour chart systems I would really appreciate any advice on how to automate this process in some way!
Thanks
