I am working with an assembly that includes a part that has no features. This part is only made up of sketches on multiple planes. These sketches show up fine in the assembly, but when I save the assembly as a part, I can't view them. I need to save the assembly as a part so that I can add features. The sketches in the described part are necessary for me to dimension the features that I want to add.

How can I get the sketches to appear in the part created from the assembly?
