We order raw material in set sizes. Is there a way to add a max length limit to a configured weldment profile?

Say I have a sketch that's 100" long, but the max length of material I can order is only 96". Ideally the weldment would split itself into 2 bodies of 96" and 4" without merging in this scenario, but otherwise work like normal weldments. Otherwise, I'm looking for the weldment to either still apply but show up 4" short with an error flagging the length issue, or for the weldment to not apply at all with an error message explaining why.

Is any of this possible?
