The new drop-down selection for the existing cut list item level properties is a thing of beauty. Too bad it works only if the type is set to equation.

For a long time we could concatenate properties in cut lists, but it was a very cumbersome process. For example, to simply have a Description like "Sheet x required a cumbersome manual process.

Example: SHEET "SW-Sheet Metal Thickness@@@Cut-List-Item2@Part1.SLDPRT" x "SW-Bounding Box Width@@@Cut-List-Item2@Part1.SLDPRT" will result in SHEET 0.020 x 4"

Who has the time to type so much (even when using copy & paste)?

The new functionality for equation looks great but the result is always just a number. It is a teaser that could not produce the result shown above.

I tried a VBA function for converting the numerical equation in a string, but it does not seem to work.

So... can we get the drop-down list available for defining the TEXT type properties?
