Hey guys,

I'm trying to model a WW1 Bentley rotary motor and have run into an issue with the valve train. Unlike conventional engines where the lash is present between the cam/rocker and the valve, this design has the lash between the equivalent of the cam and rocker. The problem that I'm running into is that I can do only one of two things:

- cam mate without distance mate between the tappet guide body and the thimble

- distance mate between the tappet guide body and the thimble but no cam mate

Is is possible to make a "contact" mate or a gaped cam mate like the series of pictures below?
