I know this has been discussed before, but to just throw in my 2 cents. When I had 2 machines running (office and home) with a 2017 fresh install. Then of course, you accept the EULA for that software version.
Now i cant use both systems, what if I forget to deactivate before i leave work? My VAR answer was give us a call, we will do it for you.
Fine and Dandy, what if its 11 p.m. on a Saturday and I cannot get a hold of my VAR. Or god forbid, what if I jump on a plane to fly to Europe, and I cant get SW running because my office computer was not deactivated?
This is total B.S. Dont even get me started on the rights of a user vs. a company changing a EULA for a version of software they already sold a year after it was installed.
This is downright criminal. How much money have I given solidworks in my 20 years as a user? Obviously WAY, WAY too much.
