I am building a workstation to run Solidworks 2019 and wanted to make sure I had a build that would work out. This computer will be used mostly for running SW19 and possibly a couple of other CAD programs like AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Revit.
I really don't have a set budget, my boss just told me to build a computer that is powerful enough to run SW19 and then some. He wanted the computer to be able to handle any upgrades that might come to SW19 in the future with no issue.
Right now I am setting right around \$4,000 for all parts including a UPS System, Monitor, and all the odds and ends I might need. I think I may be able to go as high as \$5,000 if needed.
