Bug Testing a standard expection of SolidWorks and the non-valued added resellers.

From working with SolidWorks over the last two years I am very disappointed in the bug identification, technical support process they have in place. It appears that the software is released to customers too early and we as customers are used to bug test their software.

I would like to propose that SolidWorks and the VARs develop a more automated system for capturing the technical problems and producing a Log file that would automatically be sent to the VAR and SW for further verification. I do not think that customers should have to fill out detailed reports of how the bug occurred. Your software should be able to record this automatically. Honestly, I could spend a majority of my day working on these issues. To have to spend over \$1000 a year for technical support and then have to work a few hours a day to help them improve the product seems like a really good deal for SolidWorks and the VAR.

I enjoy SolidWorks and believe it is a great application but the above issues need to be addressed. Otherwise I may have to invest in Modo 401 a product that is around \$1200, has more features then PV360 and unlimited free technical support.
